HOW WE SERVE

Employment

A Community of Growth & Opportunity

Access to opportunities with the ability to grow are key for our community to flourish. Our continued partnership with companies will provide youth and adults with the programs, jobs and training needed to pursue well-paying careers. Additionally, attracting and retaining entrepreneurs and emerging leaders will encourage the growth we desire for our community. .

Youth Career Readiness

Sustainable Employment

Creative & Emerging Businesses

Working together, we will support the changes needed to reduce the unemployment rate, raise our community’s median income level, and address economic disparities. We are excited to support an increasing number of minority owned businesses and welcome new companies to the Northside.

Making it happen.

We know this will take time. As we work towards our long-term goals, there are immediate and exciting changes for our community to support:

Youth Development

Increase access to after school, employment and career exploration programs for our youth

Employer Partnerships

Development of employer partnerships to create training programs for needed skill sets of high wage positions and increase the # of job placements

Entrepreneurship

Invest in entrepreneurs and increase the number of local, minority owned businesses

We need each other.

In every community, there is a give and take. Sometimes you are the one offering support and other times you need to receive it. It’s all part of our work together.
